Even though the transition from puppyhood to adulthood is a natural and unavoidable process, it can be a bit confusing. This article gives you an idea of what to expect from your puppy as it slowly ages into an adult dog.
Reduced hyperactivity
Don’t worry when your puppy isn’t jumping up and down and running around everywhere as much as before. it’s just like when we stopped becoming hyper toddlers and grew into adults. Your pup is just growing up the same way humans do.
Puppy is sleeping more
Your pup may also become tired more quickly after playtime. You’ll notice a slight dip in energy levels from back when your dog was a puppy, revving to go with very little rest!
Greying
Dogs go grey too! Most will show signs around the muzzle, but this doesn’t usually happen until further down the road.

Weight Gain
With ageing, your pup may start putting on some pounds, in which case you’ll have to pay more attention to his diet. This is simply because of a change in absorption and metabolism levels as he transits from puppyhood to adulthood.
