Develop your “action vocabulary.”

The following seventy-two words should become part of your speech during the interview. They are the words of the winners in life,  and they have the uncanny effect of investing you with their vitality.

While you can just photocopy the list and glance at it regularly, the best way to weave these words into your vocabulary is to write ten of them on your old business cards (or cut up some index cards), and place the cards in your wallet or purse.  Take them out frequently during the first week and make up positive sentences about yourself,  using one word per sentence.  The following weekend,  do the same with another ten words.  Repeat this process until you have completed the entire list.  You will be amazed at the improvement in your speech and your attitude. Most importantly,  you will probably be hired long before this exercise is through.
