These teas are greatly known for their soothing properties and cooling irritation. Fill up a tub or sink with medium warm water, place several tea bags in the water, and let steep for a few minutes, no need for more than 5 minutes. Once the bath is ready, remove the tea bags and let your pet soak for up to five minutes. If you cannot get your pet to go in the bath, let the water cool down some more, pour over them with a cup, and air dry.

Apple Cider Vinegar Water Spray

Apple cider vinegar has a lot of uses for not only humans but also pets. If your pet has itchy skin, this concoction of 50/50 water and ACV spray can help relieve your pet’s skin allergies or irritation. This home remedy can also be used in a bath format. Fill up a small container with equal parts water and apple cider vinegar and soak your pet’s paws in it.

Coconut Oil

Just like with apple cider vinegar, coconut oil is also beneficial for humans and animals. With its antibacterial and antifungal properties, it can help with your pet’s skin allergies. Coconut oil can help with pets who suffer from eczema, allergies, infections, and insect bites. For the best application process, place coconut oil in the fridge so it is hard and then rub onto the affected areas for your pet.
