Become irreplaceable with these must-have skills in life

1. Learn to sell and negotiate
You’re always selling. Sometimes you are selling a product; other times, you’re selling yourself.

4 Ways to Work Smart Not Hard
Stop being an Ant and be a Chimpanzee.
Don’t go with the flow. Remove what is not benefiting. Think about how the current process can be reduced and made more effective. It’s an art that only a few people realize. Be one of them.
3. Ability to shut up, listen and learn from others.
Every failure/mistake can teach you great things.
You don’t have to make mistakes yourself. Observe the world around you and learn from your mistakes.
You’ve been given two ears and one tongue for a reason. So, you listen more than you speak.
The more you listen, the more you’ll learn.
4. To adopt, improvise and overcome obstacles.
Richard Branson said, ‘If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity, but you are not sure you can do it, say yes — then learn how to do it later!’
Don’t get discouraged by obstacles.
Successful people fail a lot.
5 Successful People Who Failed Massively in The Beginning
If you’re not failing enough, you’re not trying hard.
To succeed, learn the art of staying calm while under pressure.
Don’t let others see you in pain. Stay strong when you’re in front of people and cry when you’re alone. Do all you can and pray to GOD for a miracle to happen.
5. To walk away from toxic people
What others think of you is none of your business.
Get away from people who bring you down. Negativity is bad for your health.
Toxic people don’t owe you a thing. If you have a toxic work environment, quit the job and find another. If there are toxic people in your family, it’s better to shift to a new home. Or be so positive that negativity doesn’t affect you at all.
6. Time management is life management
Schedule things. Make to-do lists. And manage your time.
Take a course on time management or read Getting Things Done by David Allen.
Measure your progress each day and plan your next day the night before. Make all the effort you can and leave whatever is left for tomorrow.

Learn to express yourself in ways that give inspiration to others.
8. Find creative ways to fail at things
Failing is inevitable. Learn from your mistakes. Every failure is an opportunity to learn new things. Take whatever you can learn from the failure and do it better the next time.
9. Do things irrespective of the situation
Don’t wait for miracles to happen by themselves. Make your effort even if it feels like breaking from inside. Do what’s right, regardless of how you feel about it.
Focus on the process, and soon you’ll see the results you dream of.
10. Step into other’s shoes
Understanding others is the most practical skill that you can develop.
Look into the eyes and read how they feel. If they’re in pain, show them empathy before you say anything else. If they’re happy, give them something to stay happy.
Say things that uplift the mood of others.
11. Master your thoughts
Don’t let others take control of your thoughts. Make an effort to stay positive all the time. Find ways to seek positivity in everything that happens with you.
Life is too short to live with regrets. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones.
Shad Helmstetter’s What to say when you talk to yourself is a fantastic read. Buy the book and begin your day positively.
