🌼WhyDon’t Feel Like Working and How To Fix the Lack of Motivation(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Motivation is the fuel that drives your success
How to deal with loss of motivation
Tasks get done, you make progress, and you achieve goals when you work consistently. Every. Single. Day. And for that, there has to be a driving force.
For an average person not dealing with any issues, the motivation to do anything worthwhile has to largely come from within (intrinsic motivation) if it has to last long. Luring yourself with the carrot (external motivation) does work for some, but it can only take you so far.

When you feel driven from within, you give it your best shot. The enthusiasm and passion come automatically, flow in abundance from your core and enable you to navigate all the obstacles and difficulties in your path.
So if you struggle with motivating yourself, it’s time to self-reflect and figure out where the problem is.

Here are five reasons that are preventing you from working on your goals:
1. Your goals are too big for you
If your goals seem ‘unrealistic’ to you and deep within you feel you’re not up to them, you’ll be scared even to venture out.
To feel driven and get motivated to take action, you must first be convinced in your mind that you have it in you what it takes to succeed. A large part of that conviction comes when you believe in yourself deeply enough and know you have the commitment and the ability to persevere and reach your goals.
If your goals are too formidable, break them into smaller chunks and take up one bit at a time. When you focus on one task at a time, you feel comfortable and in control, and there’s no question of getting stressed or overwhelmed.
Also, it’s always a good idea to create a timeline to achieve your goals. It will help you stay on track, avoid procrastination and ensure you are making regular progress.
2. Your goals are not yours
Many a time, you set goals because other people — your parents, teachers, guides, or friends — think they are the right fit for you, or that’s what you must do.
No matter how close others are to you, they cannot fathom your ambition, desires, and aspirations. No one can look at your future from your perspective and know what you want to be and where you want to reach.
You’re never feel truly motivated to pursue something that doesn’t resonate with you or rings true to you. There’s little possibility of experiencing a ‘connection’ with the goals that have been pushed your way by others, even though it is advocated that they are set for you in, supposedly, your best interest.
To feel motivated to pursue a goal, you must either set a goal that ‘you’ want to achieve or convince yourself that the goal set for you by others is the ‘right one’ for you.
3. You are not committed to your goals
It is the desire to reach someplace, accomplish something and become someone that serves as a driving force and pushes you forward in your chosen direction.
Hence, to achieve success in any endeavor and get to the top of your game, your relationship with your goals is of utmost significance. So before you embark on your journey to success, ask yourself if you are willing to make the trade-offs and do whatever it takes to reach there.
Once you’re clear on your commitment and have the vision of your dreams in mind, you’ll be motivated to align your efforts toward the direction of your goals.
The best thing about motivation is that it becomes easier to focus, and you are more comfortable saying no to items that are not on your priority list or don’t help you achieve your goals. So there’s little chance of you getting side-tracked by distractions and wasting your precious time.
Motivation helps you feel more in control of your life and enables you to redirect your focus to things that matter. You can channelize your resources and make the best use of your focus and time for planning things and taking action toward your vision.
When you feel driven, you wake up each day feeling enthusiastic and energized because you have something meaningful to look forward to. You’re all charged to do focused work, push yourself out of your comfort zone, stretch your limits and deliver your absolute best. With that much passion, energy, and motivation, you can hit the ground running.
4. You don’t have the skills required to achieve your goals
When it comes to achieving goals, one thing is sure: there’s no replacement for competence. No matter how ambitious you are or how good your planning is, if you lack the talent, you cannot make it. Ever.
So if you’re feeling unmotivated to pursue your goals, it could be that you have doubts in your mind about your ability and capability to reach your goals.
For that, you must revisit your goals and review them. Check if you have the requisite skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience to make the cut and forge ahead on your chosen path.
If you feel you’re lacking in something, prepare yourself to develop the skills and acquire the technical know-how before you move any further.

5. You’re not sure how to go about the process
We’re all interconnected and interdependent; there are few things that you can do alone. Every person needs others, and that’s how we thrive — by giving and receiving.
So when you’re feeling unmotivated to work on your goals because you have no idea where to start and what to do, get off your high horse, swallow your pride and take the help of someone who has already walked the path before you.
There’s no dearth of guidance, support, and mentorship; all you need is a willing heart and a resourceful attitude. Be proactive and enterprising. Seek and ask for help and advice.
When you reach out to others, show genuine interest and make a humble request, most times, people will be ready to help you and show you the way.
